What this place is
A DICK'S Sporting Goods store whose page lists skate services.
DICK'S Sporting Goods Tucker
DICK'S Sporting Goods in Tucker, at the Tucker Meridian shopping center, is a big sporting goods store rather than a hockey shop. The chain says its store services vary by location, and the Tucker store's page is the Atlanta-area DICK'S page that lists skate services, alongside its bike, golf, glove and racquet work.
That makes it most useful to a family buying a first pair of skates, who can have the new pair looked after at the store where it was bought. It is east of the city, inside the Perimeter's north-east corner, a drive from every rink in the region.
Skaters bringing a pair bought elsewhere, or figure or goalie skates, should call the store first. Atlanta IceForum in Duluth, about 12 miles away, has a pro shop with a sharpening service inside the rink, and Pure Hockey in Roswell is the dedicated hockey store on the north side.
Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
Fitting & heat molding
Fitting adjustments, free with a skate bought at the store.
