Kiddles Sports is an independent sporting goods and bicycle store on Market Square in downtown Lake Forest, run by the same family for more than fifty years. It is not a hockey or figure skating specialist, but its counter sharpens skates for North Shore families.
The store says it sharpens throughout its opening hours and that most pairs take only a few minutes, so it works well as a quick stop on a Saturday morning before public skating. Ask at the counter whether your blades suit their machine if you skate on figure blades with a big toe pick.
