Kube Sports Complex Pro Shop
Kube Sports Complex is the NHL-size rink in Hammond, Indiana, about 25 minutes from downtown Chicago off the Kennedy Avenue exit, and the home ice for a run of Northwest Indiana hockey: the Mohawks youth club, high school teams from Bishop Noll and Munster, and Purdue University Northwest.
Its small pro shop covers the everyday needs of a hockey bag, from tape and mouth guards to jerseys and the rink’s own Tomahawk sticks, and it sharpens skates at a flat price, which makes it easy to get a pair done between games.
For a full range of skates and protective gear, the nearest larger hockey shops are on the Illinois side, with Jerry’s Hockey in Crestwood about twenty minutes west. Morgan Park Sports Center on Chicago’s far South Side is the closest rink across the state line.
Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
