What this place is
A Pure Hockey store, formerly Perani’s Hockey World; every store in the chain has a skate service center.
Pure Hockey North Olmsted
Pure Hockey’s North Olmsted store on Lorain Road traded for years as Perani’s Hockey World, and older photos still show that sign. Pure Hockey bought the Perani’s chain in 2026 and has been turning its stores into Pure Hockey shops.
Every Pure Hockey has a service center where skates are sharpened or fixed, and staff can text you when your pair is ready, which helps on a busy weekend when the queue builds before games.
If you skate on a particular hollow, bring it written down so the technician can match it.
North Olmsted Recreation Center is the closest indoor rink, about 2 km west, and Hamilton Ice Arena in Rocky River and Winterhurst in Lakewood are both within about 9 km.
Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
Repairs
Skates fixed at the store’s service center.
