Pure Hockey Columbus
Pure Hockey opened its Sawmill Place store in October 2023 as the chain’s first shop in Columbus, on the north-west side between Dublin and Worthington. It is the Columbus-area store the chain marks as an expanded goalie location, so goalies from across the metro get the widest choice of pads, gloves and masks to try on here.
Skates can be left at the store’s service center, and the chain says it can send a text when they are ready, so there is no need to stand around the shop while a pair is done. Chiller Dublin and Chiller Ice Works are each about five miles away, which makes it easy to fit a visit around a practice at either rink.
Tell the staff your usual hollow when you leave a pair, and goalies should mention goalie steel. Pure Hockey’s other Columbus-area stores are in Westerville near Polaris and in New Albany.
