Taylor Sportsplex, the City of Taylor’s sports complex on Telegraph Road, lists a B&R Sports pro shop among its features, and it is B&R’s only store Downriver. For hockey families south-west of Detroit it saves the trip to the chain’s Macomb and Oakland County stores, and it is the most convenient B&R counter for Taylor, Southgate and Wyandotte families.
Pure Hockey’s Taylor store, the former Perani’s Hockey World on Eureka Road, is about a mile and a half away, and Play It Again Sports in Southgate, which sharpens skates at a posted price, is a little further, so Downriver skaters can compare three options in one afternoon.
Mention your usual hollow when you drop skates off, and allow extra time before a tournament weekend at the Sportsplex.
