What this place is
A Play It Again Sports store in Novi that buys and sells used sports gear and sharpens skates.
Play It Again Sports Novi
Play It Again Sports in Novi is a used-gear store on Novi Road, and its services page is unusually clear about skates: it sharpens while you wait and treats hockey, goalie and figure skates the same. That makes it a handy option for families with skaters of more than one kind.
Novi Ice Arena is under a mile and a half away and Suburban Ice Farmington Hills about three miles, so a pair can be done on the way to a practice. Pure Hockey’s Novi store and the DICK’S at Fountain Walk are both nearby for new gear.
The store also buys and trades in outgrown gear, so bring last season’s skates along when you come to get a pair sharpened.
Sharpens: hockey, goalie, figure. Not stated: speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
Sharpening: price and wait
- Sharpening: $10 (While you wait)
