What this place is
Pure Hockey’s Brighton store; its page carries the April 2026 announcement that Pure Hockey bought Perani’s Hockey World.
Pure Hockey Brighton
Pure Hockey’s Brighton store shares its Citation Drive address with the BIGGBY COFFEE Ice Cube, the three-sheet rink that is home to the Kensington Valley Hockey Association and the local high school teams. It is one of the Perani’s Hockey World stores the chain bought in April 2026, as the store page announces.
Its page marks it as a no-goalie location, so goalies are better served by the chain’s Troy store. The DICK’S at Green Oak Village Place is about a mile away, and Hartland Ice House is about nine miles north.
Since the Perani’s sale, Pure Hockey says this store has added the chain’s skate services; leave a pair at the counter when you arrive for practice and ask for it back when the ice time ends.
Sharpens: profiling / contouring. Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
Fitting & heat molding
Skate fitting, sharpening and profiling, which Pure Hockey says the former Perani’s stores now offer.
Repairs
Skates fixed at the store’s service center.
