What this place is
Pure Hockey’s Livonia store; its page carries the April 2026 announcement that Pure Hockey bought Perani’s Hockey World.
Pure Hockey Livonia
Pure Hockey’s Livonia store, on Middlebelt Road, is one of the Perani’s Hockey World stores the chain bought in April 2026, and the store page carries that announcement. Photos from 2023 still show the red-and-blue Perani’s sign over the door, so look for either name when you pull in.
As one of the former Perani’s stores, Livonia keeps the same staff, and Pure Hockey says its in-store skate services come with the change. Farmington Hills Ice Arena and Eddie Edgar Ice Arena are each about three and a half miles away, and the DICK’S at Livonia Commons is a short drive south.
Mention your usual hollow at drop-off; Pure Hockey says the service center can text you when the skates are sharpened.
Sharpens: profiling / contouring. Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
Fitting & heat molding
Skate fitting, sharpening and profiling, which Pure Hockey says the former Perani’s stores now offer.
Repairs
Skates fixed at the store’s service center.
