Lodowisko Gugu lies in the heart of Zakopane on Piłsudskiego Street, about ten minutes' walk from Krupówki and five minutes from the Wielka Krokiew ski jump. The rink sits on a picturesque viewing meadow facing Giewont, and its own page says that skaters see no street or passing cars from the ice.
Deckchairs wait on the meadow for a break with tea or mulled wine, and a cosy bistro and bar stand right beside the ice. The rink is open to the public every day of the week, including Sundays and holidays, and its owner and organiser is the company BACHLEDA-CURUŚ SZYMON 'Gugu Park'.
The ice is refreshed regularly through the day, and the spacious rink has professional lighting and protective barriers.
