## Visitor facts

### Booking & check-in

Outdoor community ice rinks are maintained by neighbourhood volunteers. These unsupervised skating rinks are for everyone to enjoy.

### Skating with children

The City's community-rink rules strongly recommend CSA-approved helmets for skaters (bike helmets do not give enough protection) and strongly recommend supervision of children under 12.

### Amenities

## Notices

- The City of Guelph's community ice rink list (last updated March 6, 2026) places this volunteer-run rink under Closed, and the City says rink availability depends on weather and volunteers and that not all rinks may be operational each winter; no 2026/27 opening date is posted yet.
