Home ice of the Kelowna Chiefs

Rutland Arena has two NHL-sized rink surfaces. It is home to the Kelowna Chiefs of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League. The Chiefs came from Chase, relocating to Rutland, in Kelowna, for the 2010-11 season. In their second Kelowna season they played all the way to the league championship, where the Beaver Valley Nitehawks swept them. The following year they finished first in the Okanagan Division.

The arena is close to Rutland Secondary and Rutland Middle School. Both schools' teams used to be called the Voodoo, until a name change in 2024. In January 2025 the Chiefs planned a Rutland Voodoo jersey night to honour the school's history and the town of Rutland. The game was set as a fundraiser for the school's 2025 graduating class. In September 2022 the Chiefs announced a preseason showcase here with three visiting teams. Thrash Wrestling booked the arena for a royal rumble with nearly 30 wrestlers on May 2, 2025.
