What this place is
Pure Hockey’s Kirkwood store, which the chain lists as a limited goalie location.
Pure Hockey Kirkwood
Pure Hockey’s Kirkwood store is on South Kirkwood Road in the inner south-west suburbs, a mile or so from Kirkwood Ice Rink and about three from Webster Groves Ice Arena, which makes it the nearest chain hockey store for families who skate at either.
The chain lists Kirkwood as a limited goalie location, so goalies who want the full range should head to the Chesterfield store, which Pure Hockey runs as an expanded goalie location.
As at every Pure Hockey, there is a service counter for sharpening and staff can text you when your skates are done. For a hockey-only shop with one sharpening price, SK8Co. in Fenton is about four miles south-west.
Bring your current skates when shopping for a new pair, so staff can compare the fit.
Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
