Cutting Edge Pro Shop at Milliken Mills
This is the Markham outpost of Cutting Edge Pro Shops, a small York Region company that otherwise works out of two arenas in Whitchurch-Stouffville. The counter sits right at the entrance of Milliken Mills Community Centre, so it is the first thing you pass on the way to the ice, and it doubles as the rental desk during public skating.
Open hours here are short and change with the arena schedule, so this is a place to drop skates on the way into a session rather than to linger. Figure skaters with competition blades should ask for the company’s master sharpener; recreational figure and hockey skates can go to any of the technicians.
Profiling is not done on this site: blades left here travel to the company’s Stouffville Clippers shop, about 15 km north-east. Crosby Memorial and Centennial in Markham are the next indoor rinks, both within about 4 km.
