Figure skating shop

ESTA Oakville storefront
The ESTA storefront in the plaza on White Oaks Boulevard, with its sign over the glass door.

ESTA is a figure skating business with counters in Oakville and Richmond Hill, and its Oakville shop on White Oaks Boulevard took over from the former Mississauga store, so the sign may still carry both names. It is a true figure specialist: boots, blades, practice and competition dresses, and a sharpener on site who works on figure blades.

Sharpening is booked rather than walk-in, so text or call ahead, especially in the weeks before a test day or competition when every club skater wants fresh edges at once. Buying a ticket of sharpenings brings the cost of each one down, which suits a skater who is on the ice several times a week.

River Oaks and Trafalgar Park community centres are each about 3 km away, and Maple Grove Arena is a short drive further.

Sharpens: figure. Not stated: hockey, goalie, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
