What this place is
A small home-based skate sharpening service in East York that also sells hockey accessories and team gifts; sharpening is booked online.
Radius Precision is a small, home-based sharpening service in East York, set up for the families of the surrounding neighbourhoods rather than as a storefront. You book a slot online, choose your skate type and hollow on the form, and the sharpening is done while you wait; if the times do not suit you, there is an off-hours drop box, so skates left in the morning are ready later that day and skates left in the evening are ready the next morning.
It handles hockey, goalie, figure and recreational skates as well as loose blades, and the gift cards bring the cost of each sharpening down for a family that skates every week.
East York Memorial Arena is about a kilometre away, and Leaside Memorial Gardens is a short drive west.
