Public skating at Prince's Island Park Outdoor Skating Rink: the next 7 days
Currently out of season The City of Calgary's facility status table shows Prince's Island Park Outdoor Skating Rink as "Closed for the season" (updated September 22, 2026). It gives no opening day. The City of Calgary's outdoor skating rinks page shows every City-run rink as closed and gives no 2026/27 opening date; once open, skating at these rinks is free and first-come, first-served, and the rinks are flooded as needed.
