Furukawa Electric Hosoo Dome Rink (Nikko Hosoo Dome Rink) · 日光市 An all-weather dome rink; Furukawa Electric has held its naming rights since June 2025, through March 2028 Currently out of season The city's page, updated 25 December 2025, still shows last season (9 November 2025 to 15 March 2026) and says the usual winter window is late October to late March with the opening date set each year. Nikko Kirifuri Skate Center (outdoor speed rink) · 日光市 Opened in 1991 as a 400 m outdoor speed oval with 750 seats; a prefectural indoor ice arena stands beside it Currently out of season The operator's page says last season ended on 23 February and asks visitors to wait for the next season's opening. The outdoor speed rink's usual season is early November to late February, open 9:30-16:00 on weekdays and 9:30-16:30 on weekends and holidays; no opening date is announced yet.
