Currently out of season Stockholms stad says the Vårgårdens skating rink is a natural-ice rink that is flooded only when sub-zero weather is expected for a longer period; its page, updated 18 December 2025, gives no opening date for the coming winter. The city does not publish ice conditions for this rink: its skating guide says it has no service for telling whether the ice is frozen or in what state it is, so check the ice yourself before you go.
