Home ice for BAHA and the Champlain Valley Skating Club
Gordon H. Paquette Ice Arena, known to Burlington skaters as Leddy Arena, has two sheets: a full-size 200-by-85-foot standard rink and a smaller 87-by-66-foot studio rink that is in operation from mid-September through March.
It is the home ice for BAHA, Burlington's youth hockey organization, for the Burlington and Colchester boys and girls high school hockey programs, and for Full Stride. Figure skating belongs to the Champlain Valley Skating Club, whose members include Vermont Children's Theatre on Ice and the On Thin Ice adult theatre troupe.
Junior hockey has come and gone: after the 2013-14 season the Jr. Nationals relocated to Burlington as the Vermont Lumberjacks, bringing junior hockey back to the state. The Lumberjacks moved their home games to Waterville Valley Ice Arena in New Hampshire halfway through the 2020-21 season because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in the 2025-26 season the club ceased operations without returning to the EHL.
