Home ice of the Kemptville 73's

The North Grenville Municipal Centre has two ice pads, used for figure skating, public skating, early-morning initiation practices and late-night seniors hockey. The building also holds community halls, a theatre and the municipal government under one roof. It is home to the Kemptville 73's of the Central Canada Hockey League. The club was founded in 1969 as the Kemptville Comets, and in 1973 it took the year as its name, becoming the 73's.

The 1996-97 Junior B team went through the regular season undefeated, 38 wins, 0 losses and 4 ties, the only time any team had done so. It then won the St. Lawrence and Rideau/St. Lawrence playoff titles and the Eastern Ontario championship. That team was inducted into the Kemptville and District Sports Hall of Fame in 2012. The 73's joined the Central Junior A Hockey League as an expansion franchise in 2007. Calvin de Haan and Ben Hutton are among the club's notable alumni.
